The design and construction of water supply projects should abide by the relevant state and city technical standards and specifications. The construction unit should entrust the design and construction of water supply projects to units with corresponding qualifications and certificates. Units without relevant qualifications and certificates or with inadequate business scope are not allowed to undertake such projects. Having finished the projects, the inspection department should notify the City Water Supply Management Office or the district (county) administrative departments to carry out inspections.
